At Essentials for English, we believe that education is empowering and it is is a lifelong process. Everyone should have access to high-quality, evidence-based, engaging  learning opportunities, regardless of their background or circumstances.  

We provide a range of teaching resources designed for the adult migrant English classroom.  These resources teach reading and spelling to beginner learners of English.

Our resources are based on best practice research into reading and spelling.  Teaching materials are aligned with an explicit, systematic, synthetic phonics approach.
